This webinar covers the epidemiology of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and the clinical and psychosocial characteristics of justice-involved veterans with TBI. Presenter Dr. Meghan Geiss will describe the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Polytrauma System of Care and collaborative efforts between the Department of Defense and the VA to identify, assess, and treat TBI survivors. She will also discuss the research and clinical and care coordination initiatives to provide lifelong care and support for this population.
