We hear those words every day in treatment courts. I know many of you share an overwhelming feeling of pride in what it conveys about our work. Just as our field continues to evolve, so too must NADCP. Last summer at RISE22, I listened to treatment court professionals from across the country talk about the essential work we do together, and perhaps more importantly, they expressed optimism about all we can and must do in the future.

I am honored to announce that the NADCP Board of Directors unanimously voted to change the organization’s name to All Rise to capture better the work we have done and will do in the years ahead. This transition represents one of the most important moments in our organization’s history.

From today on, we are All Rise.

All Rise is the training, membership, and advocacy organization for justice system innovation addressing substance use and mental health for individuals at every intercept point. Through our four divisions,

• the Treatment Court Institute (founded as the National Drug Court Institute),
• Impaired Driving Solutions (founded as the National Center for DWI Courts),
• Justice for Vets, and
• the newly established Center for Advancing Justice,

All Rise will continue to provide comprehensive treatment court training and empower emerging justice system innovations that promote recovery by addressing substance use and mental health.

Many of you will be introduced to All Rise at RISE23 in Houston, Texas. And all of us will hear more about this exciting change in the coming days and weeks. For now, I simply say: thank you for being beacons of hope and continuing to prove that when one person rises out of addiction and finds recovery, we All Rise.
