DWI Court Foundational Training
Expert training and mentorship for building the foundation of a successful DWI court.
Overview
This training provides the roadmap for successful DWI courts. While this training is designed for programs still in the planning stages, operational programs without formal training and/or with significant staff turnover are also encouraged to apply. The training program is offered at little or no cost to your jurisdiction.
Accepted programs participate in 3.5-day training at or near the site of an existing exemplary DWI court program. The training includes guidance from experts on evidence-based best practices, as well as the chance to observe an established DWI court. At the end of the training, programs will have developed or improved program structures, policy and procedure manuals, and team dynamics.
